As designers, it seems that we never have enough typefaces in our personal catalogue. Whether we are graphic or web designers, we are in a continuous search for the best fonts for each particular project and, of course, which are the best combinations . And among all this universe, handwritten fonts are one of the best options to achieve an original and outstanding appearance. For those of you who are not used to them, handwritten fonts , or freehand, are those that look like they are written by hands. They tend to have a more organic, and sometimes even messy , look, which can be useful in certain scenarios. But, above all, thanks to their irregular traces, they will be a point of attention in your design. Where to use handwritten fonts correctly? That yes, we must not forget that it is not appropriate to use this style of typography lightly. Due to its particular style, it is ideal to use it for headlines with few words. We should not use them in text bodies , since they are usually not very readable. They are also perfect for compositions of images and texts , in which we want the latter to have great power. Other places where we can use handwritten fonts are in logos, emblems, posters, postcards… Even, as we do at SiloCreativo, in calendars . The possibilities are multiple, just like the existing catalog of this type of font. So, without further delay, we are going to show you some of our favorites.

Pacific Pacifico, handwriting style typography Possibly my favorite on this list. In fact, surely you have found it in some other SiloCreativo article . And it is no coincidence that it is one of the most downloaded in Google Fonts. Pacífico stands out for its thick and rounded lines , with curious details such as the ending of the lowercase o , or the loop image manipulation service that forms the lowercase t . Recommended to achieve a friendly look, or to use it in children's themes. Charlotte Charlotte, handwriting style typography Charlotte has a much more elegant and sophisticated look. She has a much finer line , which changes thickness depending on the position of the script, giving the impression of being written with a fountain pen. She will fit perfectly in elements such as wedding invitations and websites related to fashion and lifestyle . Silently Silently, handwriting style typography Siletly also opts for a fine line, but it differs in that it is a much more vertical typeface. It has interesting details, such as how some letters intersect with others. This gives it a more interesting and spontaneous vibe for those looking for a font that is as close to handwriting as possible. Marck Script Marck Script, handwriting style typography We could say that Marck Script is the most readable typeface on this list. This is thanks to the separation between each character. Of course, it does not lose the handwritten essence thanks to particularities such as the break in the line that occurs within some graphs . Ideal if you're looking for a freehand font, but want to retain some of the legibility of the text and not lose your message.

Arsilon Arsilon, handwriting style typeface The first thing that stands out about Arsilon is that it seems to be written with a brush or paint brush. Its irregular stroke, where there are parts where you can see the background behind the text, make it perfect for your texts to stand out. Especially if you use it in large formats. Brusher Brusher, handwriting style typography If you're looking for a style that 's close to writing with a marker pen , you should consider Brusher. As we said with Charlotte, the thickness of her stroke varies, but here we have a much more friendly and informal typeface. Also, it can be perfectly used to simulate a bold. Satisfy Satisfy, handwriting style typography Satisfy is intended for those who want a handwritten font but without much artifice. This makes it quite readable compared to others, and it gives a more forceful appearance at large size. It has a more informal style , but without falling into such childish tones. These are the handwritten fonts that we wanted to show you in this article. But they are just a small sample of what we can find, and we hope that it will serve as a starting point to inspire you and find the one that best fits your projects. And you, do you have a favorite handwritten typeface ? Do you usually use them in your projects, whether personal or professional?
