As mobile conversation and internet access gained popularity, it was time to integrate it into mobile internet service. The 2G system was designed to be conversational in nature. People did not benefit greatly from 2G's early stage e-mail and Internet-based services. Because 2G era phones had small display screen, close keyboard and low capacity battery. They are designed for applications such as phone conversations and text messaging.

Data services were able to operate at a maximum speed of 9.6 kbps. Intermediate WhatsApp Number List technologies 2.5G (1995) and 2.75G (1997) were able to provide maximum data speeds of 115.2kbps and 384kbps respectively. Blackberry (BlackBerry) mobile devices that appeared in 1999 were designed to be optimized for e-mail service and were considered the best office tool and crept into the hands of big business executives. This is a significant improvement.

But despite 2G being considered sufficient for conversational and moderate speed data services, there has been a paradigm shift among most users towards high speed data services and multimedia services. Users eagerly awaited the arrival of 3G mobile systems for multimedia use and smart phones capable of 2Mbps data usage.

1.1.2 Skills Talk Attendance :
In 1994, IBM introduced the Simon Personal Communicator with touch screen, e-mail, fax, notes and date display facilities, the world's first smart speaker. (The very name smartphone came into use only in 1997). It lasted only for 6 months as it had already hit the market. Yet it was the proud forerunner of later smartphones.

In 1996, the Nokia-9000 line of communicators was launched. It was the precursor to the 1999 Blackberry business-capable speakerphone. Blackberry series of smartphones achieved the market leadership for some time (2001-2007) and then after the arrival of Apple iPhone (2007) user support declined and stopped. As some might think, the advent of really capable phones didn't wait for 3G. It started with EDGE (2.75G) networks.

The EDGE technology used in Apple's first iPhone continued even after the advent of 3G. Today's smart phones have improved in every way and have evolved according to the advancement of mobile technology.

High memory capacity, high-speed Internet access and downloads, HD camera, battery life that lasts for days, music and audio streaming, multi-tasking, and GPS are some of the highlights of today's smart phones. Basically they are classified as Low-End, Mid-Range and High-End. The arrival of popular Apple-iPhone, Windows Phone, Google-Android Phone, and Amazon FirePhone smartphones hastened the rise of 3G.

1.1.3. International Roaming Requirements:
During the first two mobile generations (1G&2G), the International Telecommunication Union called ITU (International Telecommunication Union) provided full support to the progress of government and private mobile operators in technical issues other than spectrum allocation.

Due to such an approach, 1G/2G mobile systems are developed to suit the national or regional regulatory & operating environment based on national or regional standards. They can only provide mobility within a country's radio environment, or within regions where certain standard mobile systems operate.

Some used to use multiple phones and SIM cards for international calls. In order to get rid of such disturbances, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) thought that the next generation (3G) mobile system standard should be developed to facilitate international transmission.
